Additional Information: Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a high-purity non-ionic cellulose ether polymer compliant with USP, EP and Chinese Pharmacopoeia pharmaceutical and food-grade standards. It is processed from refined cotton cellulose via alkaline etherification modification, presenting white or off-white fine powder with excellent water solubility, thickening, film-forming, emulsifying and water retention properties. It dissolves rapidly in cold water to form a uniform transparent colloid, with stable performance in wide pH range and good compatibility with most raw materials. In pharmaceutical industry, it is widely used as tablet binder, sustained-release matrix material, coating agent, suspending agent and ophthalmic lubricating auxiliary material; in food and fine chemical industry, it serves as thickener, stabilizer and water-retaining agent. With low toxicity, no irritation and excellent processing adaptability, it is a versatile mainstream polymer auxiliary material.
