Cephalexin is a first-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic compliant with USP, EP and Chinese Pharmacopoeia standards. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis to exert bactericidal effect, with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against multiple gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It features good oral absorption, stable properties and high safety, widely used in human and veterinary clinical treatment of respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue bacterial infections, and is one of the most commonly used classic cephalosporin antibiotic raw materials.
